"Harmonym" Adds Story Readings to Ballad Programs Especially Adapted for Library, Civic Club & Church Social Events
"Harmonym," the balladeer counterpart of author Daniel Elton Harmon, has performed throughout South Carolina and the Southeast at festivals, clubs, restaurants, churches and civic events, and on ETV and radio, since 1973. At the recent behest of college and church entertainment coordinators, he restrung his bouzouki, cittern, guitar, mandolin, et al, to add song-stories to a new program: a blend of ballads with readings from his two vintage sleuth series, The Casebook of MacTavish and The Harper Chronicles. If you're interested in a program that takes you back in time a century or so, he's available (cheap—as always) for programs at civic and church events, libraries, campuses and house concerts. For details, please drop a line to dan@hornpipe.com. Thank you! |
